Not really the point, folks. That represents work by someone else, who has entrusted his colleagues that they will respect his wishes. I seriously doubt anyone is going to go after anyone for that, but it is a matter of not abusing someone's trust and generosity. If that continues to happen, others will not allow us to use their materials and in the end, we all get shorted of learning opportunities.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
