I have them take 1/2 tablet of the 1/20 for a pack, then go to the Femhrt, which is the same ingredients, but lower dose. It eases them in. Of course there are some that worry about need for contraception, so I have them go off for 2 weeks, then do an FSH. I have never had anyone that age have a low FSH, but I know they can. I also have not yet had anyone who bled as they transitioned to the lower doses and their endometria on ultrasound were always really thin.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
