F.R.S.C.: "100 lbs wieght gain, o.p. multip" I have to admit that I am a lot more comfortable doing Cesarean sections than rotating baby heads. As far as getting a deep seated head out of the pelvis during a Cesarean section, I have been doing the following. I keep my fingers open when I slip my hand between the baby's head and the uterus. My rationale for doing this is to try to trap some air between my fingers. I put my other hand, again with open fingers, between my first hand and the uterus to try to create some air channels as I lift. I have also thought about putting a short section of suction tubing with one end open to room air and the other between my fingers when I slip my hand in front of the head to allow air to go in as I lift the baby's head - but I never had to do it.
