Re: Dead: SCHIPFrom: Andrew Folley (agfolley@hotmail.com)Fri Oct 19 12:10:19 2007
I would be very impressed if 5 if not 1 of those 41 countries had a more heterogenous population then the US. ie part of our maternal morbidity is due to the mixed ethnic population as opposed to the homozygous populations of Sweden, Norway Germany etc. Date: Fri, 19 Oct 2007 11:35:49 -0500From: midwifeim@earthlink.netTo: ob-gyn-l@dns.obgyn.netSubject: Re: Dead: SCHIPActually, most women here have no idea that there are at least 41 countries ahead of us in maternal mortality reduction. It seems to serve some interests to keep them ignorant. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
