Question relating to the case presented. How long from last listening for FHT's and incision? It is easy to stand around in the OR waiting for that last member of the team to arrive and then just make the incision when they get there. One should always know whether or not there is a heart beat before making the incision. IMHO. With a one and 5 minute apgar of "0", I find it hard to believe that there were ht. tones present in the last 3-5 minutes befor the incision. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
