I purchased an _Ultrsonix_ (http://ultrasonix.com) last December. I have been extremely happy with it. It is made in Canada. It is digital - you can save images on the hard disk, CD/DVD or email them. I based my purchase decision on price, quality & value. I did not like the GE logic book or sonosite because the buttons are difficult to operate. Extreme portability was not one of me requirements. On the other hand, I'd rather have a carted machine. I was afraid of dropping the tiny machines or having them easily stolen. I made my purchase at the end of the year, so the salesman was very motivated to make a deal. Good luck!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
