Rich, I have two Volusons and you certainly don't need that - but I have a portable sonosite that gives great images and has a vaginal probe. I would look in that direction. You might even inquire regarding a used "refurbished" one. The one I have is about 8 years old and works like new. Lynn

Subject: office ultrasound

Looking for a simple office ultrasound that will do transvaginal scans, Transabdominal bladder scans and that rare pregnant patient who comes in a does not realize I am a gynecologist. Any recommendations? I had a GE in my old office but have not done any research in years. Ultramark, Accuson, Sonosite? What is out there and what are the pros and cons? I don't need doppler or 3D
