Re: In Reversal, Student Is Given Extra Exam Time to Pump Breast MilkFrom: DoctorJoe@aol.comFri Sep 28 10:06:03 2007
In a message dated 9/28/2007 6:57:15 A.M. Central Daylight Time, rd.braun@gmail.com writes: Interestingly, the Google ad that popped up with this e-mail was for "Hooter Hiders". Apparently these are special blankets to hide the breasts AND BABY while breast feeding. Come on HOOTER HIDERS!!! Why do we have to hide them? Why do we have to call them Hooters??? It's sort of like reinventing the wheel. I was always fond of those ponchos like Clint Eastwood (as "Blondie") wore in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (or for those of you in Europe, Il Buono, Il Cattivo, e il Bruto). They flip over well and hide everything. Second choice would be a nice shawl. I WOULD agree that "hooters" would be the wrong word for lactating breasts. I'll stop there. Joe P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
