This is a patient who has hypertension when not pregnant had been on metoprolol, I took care of her durring her first pregnancy and she is following a very similar pattern for her second pregancy. at her first prenatal visit at 10 wks her B.P. was 170/110; I have adjusted her B.P. meds on 3-4 occasions she is now on labetolol 200mg po QID and hydralazine 10 mg po QID for the last 4 weeks, serial U/S show good growth. She came in for her NST today, B.P. 170/110 and then 160/110 an hour latter 1+ Protienueria(has always been negative in the past). I induced her with her last pregnancy at 35 wks when she came in with a diasytolic of 120. I know what I am going to do, lets hear it gang.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
