The demographics of the births in southern canada have changed drastically in the last decade, I am certain that 50% of the births are to the large influx of immigrants for asia and India the fact that the Maternal mortatily rate has remained the same is a testament to the systems lack of racial bias. Basically if your pregnant and ill you can present to any Canadian hospital that does OB and be seen by an ob whether you have had prenatal care or not.

I just delievered a 38 wk inant by dobawitzx to a mom who did not know she was pregnant she came in with severe abdominal pains the emerge doc asked me to see her because he was worried about an ectopic pregnancy.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
