It varies slightly from provence to provence the last big review was from 2000.

Of the 102 reports/data collection forms obtained, a total of 64 maternal deaths (44 direct maternal deaths and 20 indirect maternal deaths) were identified for a total, direct and indirect MMR of 6.1, 4.2 and 1.9 per 100,000 live births, respectively.

One interesting piece of data showed no difference in the provence of B.C. between c-section and vaginal birth both about 4 per 100,000.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
