Re: Gyn: Bicornuate versus Septate uterusFrom: R. Daniel Braun (rd.braun@gmail.com)Tue Sep 4 06:18:05 2007
Does she have 2 cervices and a vaginal septum? Easy to miss if not looking for them! Been there done that. See Green J> Jan. 1970 Uterus didelphys complicating Endometrial Carcinoma by Braun. I hope you checked for kidneys while you were there. IVP is all that is needed, even though the radiologist will want an MRI. You have a uterus bicornis. The question is: "Is it bicollis or unicollis?" There is no need for any treatment. She was able to get pregnant and carry to term. Dan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
