I forwarded your question to my OB department manager and will forward you any response. Ronald E. Ainsworth, MD, FACOG -----Original Message----- From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto:ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net] On Behalf Of Jonathan Hallsted Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2007 4:01 AM To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: Medical Equipment Maint./Upgrade Costs We are working to develop a business plan for a non-profit Full-Service Birthing Center in Romania. One thing that we are having a heck of a time nailing down, are accurate estimates for OB/GYN and Maternity Equip. Maint and Upgrade costs. We are looking for some sort of industry standard, or benchmark so that our planning and pro-forma statements will be more accurate. Does anyone have any data or experience that they'd be willing to share in regards to this issue? Any metrics out there? Thank you.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
