Re: sinks vs. sanitizersFrom: Garry E. Siegel, M.D. (garrys@mindspring.com)Wed Jul 25 17:11:55 2007
Our satellite office is an old orthopedic suite that we took over, and several exam rooms don't have sinks, and it was simply foolhardy to retrofit them. Not having a sink is awful--sometimes the speculum is bloody, etc., and you need a place to put it, or you get "stuff" on your hands (despite gloves) and want to wash. Those are for starters. I hope never to be in an office without them. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
