endometriosusFrom: Frances Wren (fwren@shaw.ca)Mon Jul 23 23:17:18 2007
I read somewhere that if one used danazol 50-100 mg daily PV it did as much for endometriosus as danazol po in the larger doses., and with much less ,if any, side effects. ?apparently some are trying that in europe? I tried that on one patient when I was working in saipan recently but I was only there for a short period so used it for the 2 months I was there ..it allegedly helped a bit she said...but then she returned to thailand. has anyone used it in this way?...and if so with what results...seems a good idea to me ..but I only read that one article...and tried so far , that one patient(not for long enough) frances wren MD FRCS

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
