And that would NEVER happen in the US (recalling the recent ER death of the woman in LA who was calling 911 from the ER). In the US, the importance of the life of a citizen is predicated upon their ability to pay. Some people could never get on a waiting list for an MRI because they could not have gotten seen in the first place due to lack of money or insurance until the symptoms became so acute that the ER is the last resort. How much could be saved by 'preventative care' rather than using the ER as 'primary care'.

Red herring argument.

However, sometimes if they are smoked they are tasty.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
