Re: May a gynecologist refuse to perform a voluntary termination of pregnancyFrom: Ronald Ainsworth (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Wed Jun 27 11:47:57 2007
I do not perform abortions. If a patient requests information on where to go, I refer them to Planned Parenthood. No physician should be required to perform abortions as a requirement for employment, unless it is a procedure he chooses to do. --- "Dr. Bülent Potur" <bpotur@yahoo.com> wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
