I seem to remember seeing somewhere that premature menopause (2dary ovarian failure) is more common in black women. Certainly my experience in South Africa was consistent with that.

I also think that this is menopause, and haven't really thought that looking at her endometrium or withdrawing her were needed. Ron, you are always so well thought out--why do you want these? That said, I thought about a simple progestin withdrawal today, actually, but decided to get an internet consult :).

If she were 59 with 10 years of amenorrhea, you wouldn't do those things routinely, of course.

If she indeed has been menopausal since 29, I wonder about chromosomes--that's why I mentioned it.
