39 YO Black P0121 seen today for an annual examination. She has been amenorrheic for around 10 years. She is obese, BMI 39.2, and has hypertension and diabetes, both treated. Recent labs: FSH 49, LH 28, TSH, Prolactin normal, 17 OHP normal. Is her diagnosis premature menopause, versus a PCO pattern? Does she need chromosomes done? Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
