Remember that medicine is an art and opinion. Just because someone doesn't agree with your way to skin a cat doesn't make it wrong. The LAW is something else altogether. There is a defining line that can be demonstrated. And the Court (and by extension the Opposition) has the power to get ANYTHING you've done and use it to measure you on that line.

We in Medicine are NOT, without more, prepared for the Law. Dabble in things like this (here, commenting on a trial while it is in progress) and you're playing with fire.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
