Boy, am I glad to hear that there are others still able to use Dr. Kielland's instrument. The other day I was told in no uncertain terms by my colleagues here that rotational forceps were a thing of the past and no-one should do them any more! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
