Andy, I haven't done it, but I just wanted to point out (after having to search for such things) that there are case reports of bladder necrosis after hydrodistension for diagnosing IC. I know its not the same thing, but just to make you aware. I have an article on it if you would like. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
