Anyone aware if patients receiving steroids before 28 weeks if their babies do better with respect tor RDS etc verses moms that do not receive steroids IF more than 7 days have elapsed. In other words sterioids are great after 48 hours and within 7 days of birth. What about when mom delivers 2, 3 or 4 weeks later? I am truying to make an argument for pushing that 2nd cycle of steroids if delivery seems iminent evne if they already had one cycle of steroids. >

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
