Thus far we seem to have skirted right round the Virginia Tech obscenity, and thus avoided any opinions on the state of the protection of citizens from non-existent gun laws. "Cultural equivalence"? Thank God it doesn't exist in this part of the world.

Like I said.... in my opinion the USA is the best place to live. You do not have to agree.... :). That is the beauty of America.... we are FREE to have OPINIONS.... and to disagree.

I'd have to agree. A relatively dispassionate view of history would indicate that the US of A is the (so far) acme of civilization as we know it. Any argument for cultural equivalence is simply wrong, both evolutionarily and philosophically. However, those arguments are made daily, both implicitely and explicitely, by the media, by "intellectuals," and others.

Unfortunately, the media IS the message. So whatever the media extolls, the unwashed masses accept. (Not EXcept)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
