I would never tell a woman to take out her IUD because she has a new partner! I do tell her that she needs to use condoms with a new partner until he has been tested to make sure he doesn't have GC/CT. But I tell every sexually active woman that, regardless of her BCM. Danae

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
