She laughed! Gary, have you ever heard ( I bet you have) any of the results of surveys insurance carriers and MCO's have done to determine the break point on co-pay increases at which so many of our ten, fifteen year love you death, you've been so good to me and my family patients will switch docs?... In each instance its been an embarassingly small amount. Not much more than would pay for a drink or two for any of us to share while laughing about it. I surely don't blame or begrudge the patients. (Except when they call back later and ask for an opinion on their new docs' advice, lol.) Money's dear, and most of them never have an overabundance of it for what they and their families need. But the real laughs on us, for having stumbled along as a professional group like sheep into the system we're now in. --------------------------------- Don't pick lemons. --------------------------------- See all the new 2007 cars at Yahoo! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
