Hey, FWIW, most of the examples given in terms of cost were from large employers who pay for much of the premium.

For my family of 4, via a group called Southern Medical Association, we are on a high deductible HSA with 70/30 coverage, and it is around $1700/month (my wife and I are 49).

I suspect that is really what a family of 4 costs at our age, give or take, as the premium was about the same with another carrier with "better" coverage (lower deductible). We had to switch to insure my son after college graduation before his plans were known for the school year.

It is quite a crazy business.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
