I think it is more that the distinction is useless. If you have mild disease, it is a red-flag, get the patient delivered before it becomes severe or eclampsia. Some things you just are or aren't, the in between ground makes no difference, it's like being a little pregnant. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
