Steve,

I do agree. Though, i don't work there, so I don't really know their sufferings first hand.

But, as I wrote, I would have taken the cysts out under the "Best Interest of the Patient" doctrine.

Remember the story about the second twin a few year's back? Where I felt I had to do a hysterectomy? During my court case against the Minister of Health about the shocking conditions in the Public Hospital(s) (which I won at High and Supreme Courts, but nothing much changed) the Permanent Secretary reported me to the Medical Council for this one. Got tossed out, of course, as the Medical Council had even issued a prior guidance in this regards (best interests).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
