When you put the trochar through the Rt. Common Iliac artery.

When you insert the scope through the trochar and see the preanesthetic antacid lining the stomach.

When you see urine coming out the end of the tubular structure you just cut across.

When your first hyst, a 39 y/o G13 P13, on PO day 6(5 minutes prior to discharge) flips a saddle embolus and dies.

Those are the big ones that come to the front of my head.

Thankfully the patient did well and was sent home a few days later after I finally got the nerve to let her go.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
