Doctor Joe, I work very hard at not being cynical and am not, by nature, a conspiracy theorist. However, I have learned that you need to know what the interests are of your friends and detractors (sp?) so that all the issues are clear before proposing such a project. My question was simply meant to address that. And, I am assuming, you were being a bit sarcastic in the asking? If not, I apologize for any cynicism or assumptions on my part. 2) You're saying that, e.g., neonatologists and the NICU "cuture" would stand in the way of this kind of study? You don't mean to imply that the literature has been cooked so that the party line -- there is nothing we can do to prevent prematurity except hold them to get steroids on board -- would be used to beat these researchers into submission? Gosh! Joe P. "When chuck Norris does division, there are no remainders."

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
