Re: The Complete OB/GYN Library ...From: Dean Huffman . (dean@thehuffpeople.net)Wed Feb 7 16:11:56 2007
.. Thanks for the informatino about Scierra. I did not know it was still in print. I had a subscription to it when I was a resident, but have not seen it for years and years. Are any of the other references available on the internet or by CD ROM for updating purposes? - - - - From: Henry Gregor <henrygregor@yahoo.com> Subject: Re: The Complete OB/GYN Library ... Date: Feb 7, 2007 6:03 PM I'd also suggest the six volume Gynecology and Obstetrics "looseleaf" and CD-ROM series, eited by John Sciarra and associates, out of Univ of Chicago (I believe) from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins...updated annually, easily updated in the looseleaf ringbinder volumes by simple add/remove effort for new/old pages. Of course the CD-ROM is a snap for updates and certainly an unbelievable reference when loaded to a keychain USB flash drive. I love books, the visual and tactile sensations just seem so "right", but this one reference can replace many feet of bookshelf volumes, whether its on a flashdrive, CD, or even the six ring binder set. I think John Rock was the editor most recently, but I could be wrong. Joe P. "When Chuck Norris plays Monopoly, it affects the actual world economy."

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
