I would object to anyone mandating that i have a 9-yr-old daughter immunized with a new vaccine against something she is not at risk for, and not at risk for spreading same to ANYONE. I certainly agree with voluntarily having daughters immunized at any age you choose. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
