Re: ADVICEFrom: Lynn Montgomery (apgar10@qwest.net)Tue Feb 6 11:03:02 2007
Ahh, we could all write a book on this one. To add to Joe's wise advice, I would suggest getting some index cards and every time you do a case with an attending physician, use a card to catalog the procedure, the instruments he/she used, aspects of the case that are unique to that individual, etc. That way, the next time you operate with that person, you will be savvy to his/her technique and more likely to gain the favor of that physician. Gaining favor, gains you responsibility, procedures and allies. Also, to echo Joe's advice, find the "Fat Man" Lynn

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
