Jane:

I use 10 mg of Valium and 2 Vicodin tabs about an hour before the procedure. Toradol 30 mg IM on arrival, paracervical block with 1% lidocaine, 10 cc at 4 and 8:00, then WAIT 15 MINUTES!!!!!!

Post-procedure, they usually only need Motrin. they stay in the office for about 20-30 minutes.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
