You know, I don't know about the cost factor ... but I sort of feel like a colpo, like when the urologist spins down a urine, etc., is really sort of just an extension of the physical exam. Sure you get a little more money for it. But it's really not that extensive (unless you take a tissue biopsy) and it's so easy.

I don't know. I was trained by José Torres, who was in the colposcopy society. Colpo was really ... well, like I said -- just part of the physical exam in the right circumstances.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
