I have been asked to review the use of hysteroscopic sterilization with the Essure product and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share his or her experiences. Just looking for some general information: · Have you used the product? If not do you plan to in the future? · If you have – what has been the pro/cons of using it? · Do you offer it to all patients looking to have a sterilization procedure? What percentage accepts? · Do you think that in the future most sterilization procedures with be done hysteroscopically? · Is there any other information that you think is relevant? · Do you have access to a hysterscope in the office setting? Do you have plans on getting one? Any input that you may have is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
