Gyn: Recurrent Stys (Sties?)From: Garry E. Siegel, M.D. (garrys@mindspring.com)Mon Jan 29 19:01:49 2007
42 YO P3003, vasectomy for contraception, has monthly cycles and has noticed recurrent sties with her cycles. I have found that "hormonal changes" may be associated with these, but I've really never heard of this before. Obviously, altering her cyclicity with the pill/Depo/etc. would likely work, but does anyone have any experience with recurrent sties? I'm going to speak with my local ophthalmologist, also. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
