we have a five doc, three cnm practice and one of the docs is quiting ob at the end of the year. any words of wisdom from others whose groups have undergone this change. specifically, how was the ob and gyn call best scheduled; any ideas on how to allocate overhead expenses?; any resources that you found helpful through any of the pracitce management organizations or consultants. what were major or unexpected problems? any input would be greatly appreciated. can email off list if wish. thanks. chris stanley, md

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
