As a person who works with words, I particularly love cool inside lingo. My favorite word recently was hemostasis. In the OR the other day, a scrub nurse referred to a certain trochar as a "Darth Vader." I love that kind of stuff. Odd details and stories always welcome. Right now I'd particularly love to chat with someone who went to HMS and/or Brigham in the late 80s early mid 90s AND someone who's been sued in the state of Minnesota.
>My previous novel, Somebody's Daughter, also required tons of research (on a totally different subject--international adoption), but there was a nice payoff with PEOPLE Magazine calling it "honestly rendered" and giving it 3 and a half stars. I've also written for the NY Times, Washington Post, and Newsweek. Hope to do a good job on this novel, make it real, and I always need help.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
