I too was wondering at the complete lack of perineal support.... and kept thinking it had to be for the "sake of the video" so as not to obstruct any view. Forget the poor woman. Dr. Bernard C., you mentioned it 'was for the soldiers.' I had been wondering who had created such a poor 'educational' video.

The placental examination was oddly timed and performed..... again, for the sake of the video????

A last. I wondered if that was the way people do in the US. No preventing of laceration, strange way to look at the placenta... Well it's for the soldiers. Bernard

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
