Re: Group Recommends Down Syndrome TestingFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Tue Jan 2 17:39:34 2007
That is what I offer to most patients also, but the Ultrascreen is what is now the latest and greatest and I offer it to patients who have the means and are willing to drive 90 miles to see the perinatologists who are certified in nuchal translucency measurements. The standard of care in California is still AFP screening, because that is what the state covers. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
