Ef There is an alternative when talking about NT, by simply adding one more serum marker from the first trimester (Pregnancy-associated plasma protein A or PAPP-A) you can increase the detection rate of the Quad test from around 79% to about 85% at a 5% screen positive rate. You are right NT is not an easy thing to do, and not available in all parts of the country. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
