Re: Difficult twins OutcomeFrom: Larry Glazerman (l.glazerman@rcn.com)Sun Dec 31 17:37:14 2006
I agree that this is a dying art, along with the singleton breech delivery, midforceps, etc. In fact, I recently suffered through a lawsuit regarding a forceps delivery (fully dilated, +2 station, which I mistakenly [at 5 am] dictated as a midforceps. The mom wound up with a third degree prolapse, and sued me. Baby was fine. Plaintiffs expert said that midforceps was malpractice. Boy am I glad I've given up OB. Happy New Year to all. It's 7:36 PM here on the East Coast of the US.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
