ABOG Board Recertification Time

For those who have to recertify, now is the time to check with ABOG (at http://www,abog.org on the internet).

For those doing annual board certification, now is the time to do it.

For those who plan to take the written recertification examination, now is the time to do it (with payment of a late fee).

The ABOG sends out one letter telling you about your status and need to recertify, but if you have changed addresses and have not notified ABOG, you might miss receiving the letter.

Just a word to the wise.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
