When I first started carrying a pager in 1979, the device was about 6 inches long, pretty bulky but it also had a vibrate function as well as a beep function. The group of midwives I worked with were all single women. We would wink at each other at our Friday meetings and ask who didn't have a date for the weekend. Those who didn't have dates said they would put their pagers on vibrate modw if someone would promise to page them in the evening. :) Louana

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
