In my previous practice my pager had the capability of setting it up like an answering machine. I could record my own message then when a patient called they could record a message and I would receive a page that told me a message had been left. I had my office number call forward to my pager when the office was closed. There also used to be answering machines that can be set up to call a number whenever a message was left ( I used to have one made by ATT but don t know if anybody makes them any more)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
