I think part of it is a learned habit. Evidently someone prescribed a hospital variety of Motrin that was horse pill size and it 'got stuck' and caused her to gag etc, so now she has a phobia over larger pills.

I'm glad to know there are chewable pills. I'll have to look in to whether or not we can get them.

I agree, but as a mom who has had to try and get a child to swallow a pill: it is a learned skill, and chewables might not be bad for a little girl.... In general I think its a ridiculous marketing ploy. But then so are a lot of things we use these days. I had a couple complain yesterday that we only had a 3D U/S in our office, and their last doctor had a 4D (!)
