Evidently someone prescribed a hospital variety of Motrin that was horse pill size and it 'got stuck' and caused her to gag etc, so now she has a phobia over larger pills. In general I think its a ridiculous marketing ploy. But then so are a lot of things we use these days. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
