I agree, but as a mom who has had to try and get a child to swallow a pill: it is a learned skill, and chewables might not be bad for a little girl.... In general I think its a ridiculous marketing ploy. But then so are a lot of things we use these days. I had a couple complain yesterday that we only had a 3D U/S in our office, and their last doctor had a 4D (!) Danae

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
