Re: Bladder FlapFrom: Allan Ho (allanho@aol.com)Sun Nov 26 13:27:26 2006
I also stopped making routine bladder flaps for about five years with excellent results. Along w ith a little extra patience waiting for the uterus to contract while tugging on the cord, the blo od loss has also been dramatically reduced. I never looked back until another OB who assisted me with a cesarean section challenged me with the practice. So I searched the litrature with the h ope of finding some articles that may convert him as well.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
